The Foundation Theodora Onlus has been bringing joy and happiness to hospitalized children since 1999. The Dream Doctors, a professional team of artists trained to work in hospitals, visit several Italian hospitals per week. These clown- doctors use creativity and improvisation to make contact through games, adapting their approach to the health conditions of each child.
The Dream Doctors began in Switzerland in 1993, thanks to two brothers, André and Jan Poulie, in memory of their mother Theodora.
In 1995 the first Dream Doctor met with children at the Cancer Center in Milan.
Last January Dada chose to support the Theodora project "A Smile for Children Diagnosed with Cancer”. The project’s aim is to raise money to support the Dream Doctors, who visit more than 8,000 children diagnosed with cancer and hospitalized in Italy.
